On his 56th birthday on Friday, the Oscar-winning music director, singer, and songwriter shocked his millions of admirers across the world with a huge statement, announcing that a new metaverse music platform called “Katraar” would soon be launched.
AR Rahman is renowned for his innovative music and cross-cultural partnerships. The musician is credited with multiple successful cinema soundtrack CDs and has won numerous top national and international awards for his artistic achievements, including the Oscars, BAFTA, Grammy, Golden Globes, Filmfare, IIFA, and National Film Awards.
Katraar will feature a lot of international works. The Hedera Network will host the platform, which is being created in collaboration with the HBAR foundation.
