Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7)Launches NFT Collection on Binance
Cristiano Ronaldo’s first NFT collection will be made available on Friday, November 18, by Binance, the world’s foremost blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider.
A global marketing campaign featuring Ronaldo will support the launch and introduce his followers to Web3 through the world of NFTs.
Seven animated statues with four rarity levels—Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Normal—will be available as part of the first Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection when it launches on November 18. (N). Every NFT statue features a famous scene from Ronaldo’s life, from his career-defining bicycle kicks to his early years in Portugal.
On the Binance NFT marketplace, an auction will be held for the 45 CR7 NFTs with the highest values (5 SSR and 40 SR). NFTs will be given to the highest bidder after a 24-hour auction period. SSR and SR bid prices will start at 10,000 and 1,700 BUSD, respectively. On the Binance Launchpad, the remaining 6,600 NFTs (600 R and 6,000 N) will be sold, with prices starting at 77 BUSD for the Normal rarity. According to the cryptocurrency exchange, early 2023 will see the release of new sets from the Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection.
In June of this year, Cristiano Ronaldo, a football player, and Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trading volume, entered into a partnership to promote non-fungible tokens. The Portuguese soccer player and Binance will collaborate on a number of NFT collections that will be offered for sale on the company’s platform as part of the multi-year agreement.
A Cristiano Ronaldo Mystery Box, possibly containing limited-edition Ronaldo NFTs, will be given to new users who register with Binance.com (and complete KYC). For the first 1.5 million new Binance users who register with referral ID RONALDO, there are CR7 Mystery Boxes available.
