UAE: Ajman Police Will Operate in the Metaverse
The Ajman Police is getting ready to offer its services on the metaverse, making it the first police force in the world to do so. The hype surrounding the metaverse in the UAE has now spread to the police force.
According to a tweet from the authority, Ajman Police has become the first police department to offer its services to clients using Metaverse technology.
The Ajman Police General Command also introduced the “Request for Sponsorship” service during Gitex Technology Week, a new smart service that enables the public to contact the police remotely.
The Dubai Metaverse Forum was also attended by the Ajman Police General Command. According to Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Abu Shehab, the force took part to take advantage of metaverse technology in the field of law enforcement.
The Dubai Police General Command announced the release of the new version of its smart application, which includes a premium collection of 70 services created using the latest programming languages, methodologies, and artificial intelligence.
Seven languages are supported by the Dubai Police smart app: Arabic, English, Russian, German, Chinese, French, and Spanish.
According to Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, director of artificial intelligence at the Dubai Police, the new smart app also has a feature called a personal dashboard with personal data and other transactions carried out by the owner.
With all these cutting-edge initiatives, the UAE is positioned to become a hub for the global metaverse. To boost the GDP contribution of the Emirate, the Crown Prince of Dubai did announce the beginning of the “Dubai Metaverse Strategy” in July.
